MEETING WITH DBKL

Propose covered walkway from RC Residences to Salak Selatan LRT Station

Finally our first baby step after a year long of waiting, DBKL agree to fund on the project, but it will take some time for design, drawing, planning, approval around timeline of 2 years to complete.

That particular section belongs to BESRAYA, BESRAYA have no objections, they will facilitate, but that section DBKL have to purchase land back from BESRAYA for DBKL to build a safe proper covered walkway. DBKL side will come down site visit on 2nd week of September, then will come out with planning in 4 months time. We will have a 2nd meeting with DBKL.

For short term solution, I suggest to DBKL to talk with RapidKL to increase the frequency of the MRT feeder bus especially during rush hour and build a bus stop for RC.

HOW ABOUT THIS CONTAINER BUS SHELTER?

An option for our future covered bus shelter can be prefab using a recondition 20 ft container.

Once completed, it can lifted into position and place onto designated space.  No need to do concreting.  Just have to wire up to db switch board.

No need to stand under the hot sun and rain anymore.

Advertising spaces can be rented out to cover the cost of procurement of this shelter.

FEEDBACK FROM MRT CORP TO MY SUGGESTION

Dear TW Kang,

Thank you for emailing us.

We appreciate your feedback and take note of your suggestion on constructing a bus stop at RC Residence which is situated along the MRT T419 MRT Feeder Bus Route, which leads to Chan Sow Lin MRT Station. .

Currently sheltered bus stops are provided only within the MRT stations and we will bring this matter to the attention of the Local Authorities, the party responsible for providing sheltered bus stops.

Aside this, the RC Residence committee can also write to the Local Authority to request the same.

We hope the above explanation clarifies the matter.

Once again, thank you.

FLY OUR FLAG HIGH

Fly our flag high for the next one and a half months.

Merdeka Day on 31.8.2023 and Malaysia Day on 16.9.2023.

FUTURE COVERED WALKWAY TO LRT Salak South station

Current covered walkway is 161 m plus uncovered walkway to be built in future is 441m = 602 meters.

Walking time one way is about 10-15 minutes only.

FUTURE SHELTERED MRT BUS STOP

Currently the RC MRT stop is uncovered and opened to rain and shine for commuters.

Why not construct a proper covered MRT bus shelter?

Sitting space must be included and the shelter must have LED lights which will switch on at night and switch off during the day.

Paid advertisements can also be allowed  at this shelter to assist in recovery of building costs.

T419 ROUTE FROM MRT CHAN SOW LIN TO RC

Do you know our MyRapid buses can be track online via this mobile Apps?

https://myrapidbus.prasarana.com.my/kiosk?route=759&bus=

By typing in the bus number, it will show the route of the bus.

Better still, the position of the bus can be seen real time. Position of the bus will be updated every 30 seconds.

Try it to view its functions.

Currently  MRT T419 Prasarana bus travels from MRT Chan Sow Lin to RC by using the U-turn. It does not go into Salak South town and LRT station.

It should because it can pick up passengers from the LRT station and Salak South town who wants to go to Razak Mansion and RC Residences.

Just enter Salak South town and makes a U-turn to the main Sungai Besi road and use U-turn back to Razak Mansion and RC Residences.

New proposed T419 route.

MRT / LRT Chan Sow Lin stations->Salak South town/LRT Salak South Station ->Main Sungai Besi Highway ->Pasar & Razak Mansion -> RC Residences.

ARE THESE MAJOR COMPLAINTS AT RC?

1. Outsiders park on residents car parks. 2. Not putting rubbish into rubbish bins.  3. Blaring of music on floors by residents.  4. Throwin...
