COVERED WALKWAY FROM RAZAK MANSION TO MRT STOP AT RC RESIDENCES COMPLETED

*Subject:* YB Fong Kui Lun will officiate the completion of the *covered walkway project* and address the media.  

Residents are cordially invited to attend.

The covered walkway from Razak Mansion to our RC Residences MRT stop has been completed with sitting for people waiting for the MRT buses.

Lighting for walkway will also be installed soon.

This walkway has been done by DBKL. Ourre heartfelt thanks to DBKL and Antony for your followup. 

Our next project is the covered walkway to the LRT station at Salak South.

Covered walkway will encourage our residents to walk from RC Residences to take the MRT and LRT.

Maybe our RC committee can get businesses to advertise behind the walkway to get some advertising income.

我们很高兴的宣布，连接 *Razak Mansion 至 拉萨镇的 KK Mart前方（包含巴士站)*  的  *有盖人行道工程* 已于 *2025年4月25日* 顺利竣工并正式投入使用。此项民生工程的落成将有效改善社区居民的出行条件，显著提升步行安全性与便利性。

需要特别说明的是，这只是我们改善社区基础设施的第一步。下一阶段，我们将继续推动该有盖人行道延伸至 *轻轨站（LRT Station）* 的工程，并会及时向社区通报最新进展。

WALKWAY TO DATE

The public covered walkway from Razak Mansion to the MRT stop at RC Residences are being completed.

Hopefully these stainless steel benches can be provided for people who waits for MRT buses as well.

 

GOTONG ROYONG TODAY BY RC RESIDENTS

RC Residences carried out a gotong royong partipated by volunteers and various government agencies.

 

WALKWAY PROGRESS TO DATE

After the Hari Raya holidays, work has begun to complete the covered walkway from Razak Mansion to KK Mart MRT stop at RC Residences.

A proper MRT stop with seats should also be constructed by MRT.

The walkway is expected to be completed by end of April 2025.
